About Me
Hi, I'm Dr. Jenny Klein, PsyD.
I became a therapist because I know how isolating it can be to go through life without feeling truly understood. Having navigated my own questions of identity and belonging, I bring that humanizing experience into my work with clients.
My style is warm and approachable, while being grounded in evidence-based clinical practice. I endeavor to create a safe environment for honesty and exploration, so that we may shine a light on any obstacles holding you back.
I work with individuals at all stages of life who are navigating identity issues, anxiety, and uncertainty. Whether they are dealing with loss, difficulties adjusting to a change, or indecision, I help them clear a path towards clarity, fulfillment, and confidence in who they are.
When we work together, you can expect treatment that is individualized to your current needs and future goals. My integrative approach uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to adaptively modify your pattern of thoughts and behaviors, while making meaningful connections that may lie outside of your conscious awareness. For emotional material of a traumatic nature, we may utilize EMDR to help you reprocess and integrate unresolved memories.
Most of all, you can expect a therapist who is fully present with you, who respects what you are trying to achieve, and who is committed to helping you feel more fully yourself than before.
